In these classes we will practice ancient breathing techniques, asana, mantras, relaxation, and meditation techniques that lead to higher states of physical and mental health.
All of these techniques are designed to take the practitioner towards Self-knowledge. The purpose of Hatha Yoga practices is to balance the physical and energetic systems so that a state of stillness, clarity, and focus can be developed in the mind. As the student to develops their own perfect practice, the teachers role is to monitor progressions and help to avoid roadblocks that are detrimental to Awakening.
